๐ Quick Rules
- Red moves first. Take turns moving one piece.
- General ๅธฅ/ๅฐ, Advisor ไป/ๅฃซ, Elephant ็ธ/่ฑก, Horse ้ฆฌ, Chariot ่ป, Cannon ็ฎ, Soldier ๅ ต/ๅ.
- Horses are blocked by a leg; elephants stay on their own side; soldiers gain sideways moves after crossing the river.
- The Cannon ็ฎ moves like a chariot but captures only by jumping over exactly one piece (its "screen"). It cannot capture an adjacent piece.
- Aim to checkmate the opponent's general. Resign or get checkmated to lose.
- Generals may not face each other on the same file with nothing between.
